Five Mesolithic blades, dating to the period 8300 BC - 4500 BC. 1) A Mesolithic oblong blade, secondary flake with a small, 5-10% of the total blade, cortex. The cortex is on the dorsal face, and is light brown, whilst the rest of the blade is dark brown in colour. It measures 49.37mm length, 14.23mm in width, 6.26mm thick and 7.01g. 2) A Mesolithic broadly triangular blade, tertiary flake with no cortex. The blade is dark brown in colour, with spots of light brown on the left hand side. It measures 34.45mm length, 14.42mm in width (narrowing to 5.45mm), 3.67mm thick and 1.61g. …
