A fragment of a copper-alloy bust of the goddess Minerva from the handle of a spatula, dating to the period AD 100-250. The Minerva is Feugère's Type A5. Of the bust, only the head and part of the neck remains. By length, it measures 32.36mm, with a width of 12.67mm and a thickness of 12.67mm. It weighs 23.75g. The bust of Minerva wears a high crested Corinthian helmet. The crest has a central groove which from which it bifurcates (with deep triangular grooves cut into the edge of each ridge) and gives way to a third central rib as it widens.
