A fragment of a copper-alloy late medieval to early post-medieval purse bar of Ward Perkins Type A1, Williams Class A1, dating to the period c. AD 1450 - 1550. It measures 62.25mm in length and including attachment flange measures 10.96mm in width, and is largely oval in cross-section. The conical terminal is 6.79mm in length and 8.23mm in width. It is largely dark brown in patina, with patches of light green. The terminal tapers inwards for the neck, which measures 3.42mm in length and 3.62mm in width. An incomplete copper-alloy late medieval to early post-medieval purse bar of Ward Perkins Type A1 or A2, dating to the period c. AD 1450 - 1550. It measures 94.91mm in length and at the central boss (maximum width), it measures 12.76mm. The purse bar is broadly oval in cross-section, except for the central boss which is rectangular in shape. There are zoomorphic mouldings either side of the central boss, one of which would have connected to the rest of the purse bar. A fragment of copper-alloy late medieval or early post-medieval purse bar of Ward Perkins Type A2, dating to the period c. AD 1450 - 1550, consisting of a bar oval in cross-section with an old break at one end and a constriction at the other, with a rove or washer around the end (8.9mm in diameter). From one long edge of the bar is an attachment flange with two sewing holes, c.2mm in diameter. The bar is divided into non-equal thirds by a two incised grooves.
