An incomplete copper-alloy early early-medieval buckle plate, dating to the period c.AD 500-600. The mount is rectangular in shape and has old damage to one corner, where it is missing its rivet and the area of the mount around it. The object measures 32.13mm in length, 25.70mm in width and 2.65mm thick. It weighs 9.41g.

An incomplete copper-alloy enameled early-medieval buckle fragment. The object is broadly triangular measuring 36.94mm in length and 12.44mm in width with a possible zoomorphic projection at the tip.
The front face of the object is enameled and decorated with raised geometric decoration. There is a circular perforation which has been drilled through the obverse. Above the perforation are two broadly rectangular projections. At the tip is a projection which curves upwards slightly. An incomplete copper-alloy medieval single loop D-shaped buckle with lipped frame dating to the period AD c.1350-1450. The buckle is complete except for the missing pin and measures 26.60mm in length. The frame is D-shaped with a slightly lipped frame, which would have held the now missing pin.
The frame itself measures 19.79mm wide and is 13.32mm in height, from lip to bar.
Wrapped around this circular profile pin bar is a copper-alloy plate which is rectangular in plan, held together by two rivet holes.

A complete cast copper-alloy early medieval buckle with strap end attached, dating to the period AD 400-720. It measures 13.19mm in length and 12.37mm in width, whilst measuring 2.67mm in thickness. The frame of the buckle is oval in shape, measuring 12.36mm wide and 6.19mm in height. It has an attached strap end which is comprised of a sheet of copper-alloy, bent over one side of the buckle. Two circular rivets hold this sheet of copper-alloy together.

A medieval cast copper-alloy single loop buckle with integral, forked spacers dating to the period c.AD1350-1450. It measures 63.73mm in length and 22.13mm in width, though this does taper to the edge of the forks to 1.07mm. It weighs 6.80g.
The buckle is oval in shape, and has a lipped and notched frame. The remainder of the frame is undecorated. The edge of the buckle to the two forked spacers measures at 20.11mm. One of the spacers measures to 46.64mm, whilst the other is slightly shorter at 43.96mm. The pin has broken off and is missing, along with the double sheet plates.

A copper alloy medieval rectangular mount dating to the period AD c. 1300-1400. This mount is from a buckle plate and is rectangular in shape. At maximum length, it measures 55.83mm, maximum width at 18.19mm. The interior of this rectangular mount measures 44.75mm in length and 10.06mm in width.

An incomplete copper-alloy post-medieval oval double loop buckle frame, which is missing its pin and a small section of one of the loops. It measures 37.17mm in height and 33.30mm in width, the interior of the loop measures 11.16mm in diameter and weighs 5.44g. The loops of the buckle are symmetrical and smooth. The outside is the thickest part of the frame, with the strap bar being the thinnest (at 2.50mm). The strap bar extends upwards to an elongated loop (which measures at 10.51mm high and 3.06mm thick). It is no. 449, p72 of Whitehead.

An incomplete cast copper alloy post medieval buckle, c. 1550-1650. The copper alloy frame is a double looped sub-oval in plan. At the apex of the loops there is a moulded rose as decoration. The strap bar is narrowed and a rounded triangle in section. The terminal of the strap bar has moulded decoration in the form of a sub-lozenge. The reverse of the frame is flat and undecorated. An incomplete cast copper alloy post medieval buckle, c. 1550-1650. The frame has a slightly thicker outer edge and incised decoration, missing its pin. Overall the buckle measures 35.58mm long, 39.38mm wide and 2.03mm thick. The internal measurement of a loop is 21.07mm long and 9.64mm wide. The frame is D shaped in cross section and has bevelled edges. On both loops the outer edges there are three traverse grooves where the pin would have sat. The buckle is similar in style and decoration to one illustrated in Whitehead 2001 (p. 54, no. 302).

A complete annular single looped Medieval buckle dating to the period c. AD 1270-1400. The undecorated buckle has a plain circular frame and an oval section, with no constriction present for the pin to rest in.The pin itself has been cast with an open loop in order to more easily attach it to the frame and shows a transverse ridge just under the loop.
The buckle is completely undamaged and measures 41.54mm in diameter and 10.56mm in thick, the pin is 41.47 in length and the entire buckle weights 16.44.

A nearly complete cast copper alloy medieval pin, probably from an annular brooch or buckle, c. 14th century AD. The pin is 50.73 mm in length and has an oval cross-section that tapers over its length to a blunt point with concave wear from contact with the frame. The attachment end consists of an incomplete open loop. Adjacent to the loop on the upper face is a raised moulding with no discernable pattern or design. The pin weighs 6.81g and has a olive-green colour and patina.

A complete copper-alloy double-looped trapezoidal buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle is trapezoidal in shape with lobed protrusions at either end of the pin bar. Each outer edge is pointed. The outside edge of the buckle is bevelled while the lower surface is flat. The buckle dates from around 1620 to 1680 AD. Whilst undecorated, in form the buckle is similar to an example illustrated in Whitehead (1996, 82; ref. 513).
