An incomplete cast lead pot mend of uncertain date, probably Roman to medieval (AD 43 -1500). A pot repair was used to mend a broken vessel in order to lengthen the period of use after damage had occurred. At maximum, the pot repair measures 35.08mm in length, 27.87mm in width, and measures 10.42mm thick. The pot repair is comprised of two plates of lead (one plate measuring 30.64mm in length and 25.32mm in width whilst the other measures 23.71mm in length and 27.19mm in width).
