A fragment of Middle to Late Bronze Age (c.1500-900 BC) copper-alloy spear. This fragment would have been the very tip of the spearhead, measuring 28.27mm in length and 15.39mm at maximum width. The fragment is lozenge-shaped in cross section and triangular in shape, tapering to a point. The midrib is prominent and tapers on either side to the edges, which are chamfered; the area of chamfering widens considerably towards the tip. The patina for this fragment is very smooth, and dark green in colour. In total, it weighs 7.13g.

A probably late medieval, 14th century gold finger-ring, a plain hoop, rectangular in cross-section, decorated to the outside surface with four grooved Tau crosses (T-shaped, and so-called because of the Greek letter to which it pertains). The Tau crosses are roughly equidistant, though one is a little out. Three of the Tau crosses are the same way up; the fourth is rotated through 180 degrees. The finger-ring measures 17.22mm in diameter and 1.44mm thick. It weighs 2.48g.

An incomplete Roman silver finger-ring, dating to the period AD 43-410. It is incomplete insofar as the intaglio which would have been set in the bezel is now missing. The frame of the ring is still complete. It is a Henig Type VIII, measuring 20.57mm in height, 25.58mm in width and weighs 5.89g. The pendant appears to have been squashed both outwards and inwards, with a section possibly missing, or bent below, in the 1 o'clock position (as photographed). A complete gold or possibly gold-plated copper-alloy Late Bronze Age penannular ring, dating to the period 1150-800 BC. The object measures 16.24mm in diameter, is oval in cross-section, and with a gap measuring 2.39mm wide and 3.94mm in height. The thickness of the ring measures 6.59mm. A complete cast silver post-medieval (c.1500-c.1800) seal matrix. It weighs 8.83g, measuring 21.42mm in length and 16.76mm in width. The seal matrix has oval face which tapers inwards to a narrowly conical handle and terminates in a circular loop. The juncture between the handle and the loop is marked by two circumferential raised collars. Extending down from these raised collars is a band of hexagonally-faceted ribs, on one of these ribs is the maker's mark. A post-medieval silver open thimble of probable 17th century date. The body of the thimble is formed from a strip of sheet metal, 0.74mm thick, wrapped around to form a cylinder. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman zoomorphic plate brooch, dating to the period AD 100-250. It depicts the front portion of a hare or possibly a dog advancing right. The measurements are 27.43mm in length, 18.79mm in width and 10.68mm in thickness. It weighs 1.85g in total. The hind legs and rump are missing, and the ear and snout have signs of damage. There are traces of enamel, off white and dark blue, in the cells within the body. All breaks are old. Closely comparable with Hattatt (2000), fig.221, no. 1189-1190.

The pin's loop is in the form of a hollow cylindrical or drum-shaped element, presumably cast as one with the shaft. An incomplete medieval copper-alloy buckle with integral plate, dating to the period 1200-1400. From the end opposite to the frame the remains of two hooks extend. The buckle measures 39.46mm in length and 15.29mm at its widest. The thickness of the buckle is 2.17mm, and in total it weighs 3.39g. The buckle is complete except for missing its pin and at least one of the hooks. The presence of iron oxide in a piercing in the plate just behind the frame indicates that the pin was made of iron. A medieval/ post-medieval rectangular double-looped buckle frame complete with sheet pin, dating to the period 1200-1700. The frame has been bevelled on the outside, measuring 29.29mm in length and 19.75mm in width. Both loops are angled upwards. The frame is 3.07mm in thickness. The pin is D-shaped in cross-section, pointed at the tip and curling around the bar at the other end. The pin measures 19.11mm in length and 3.39mm in width. In total, the buckle weighs 3.68g. There is a buckle similar to this in Whitehead (1996), p75, no.464. The buckle has a dark green patina.

An incomplete medieval single loop buckle, dating to the period c. 1250-1450. It is missing its pin. This buckle has an oval frame, measuring 22.12mm in length and 14.04mm in width. The outside edge is 4.02mm thick and is decorated with eight transverse grooves. The bar is thinner, measuring 2.09mm in thickness. Two moulded knops project from either end of this bar, with one transverse incision on the inside of each knop.
