An incomplete buckle frame of probably late early-medieval to early medieval date (c. 1000-1200). It is triangular in shape consisting of two outside edges and the bar. Extensions of the frame either side of the bar, now terminating in old breaks, suggest these originally extended, perhaps into another loop of similar shape. A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman bracelet, dating to the period AD 300-410. The fragment is rectangular in shape, widest at one end (4.82mm) with an old break and tapering over 31.98mm to the opposite end, 4.26mm wide. In profile it forms a shallow curve which is pronounced at one end as a result of old damage. It is flat in cross-section (0.98mm thick) and weighs 0.95g. To the upper face the bracelet is divided into thirds, with one third of the fragment being undecorated (at the narrower end). These thirds are divided by a transverse ridge. A copper-alloy gilt openwork probable strap fitting, dating to c.1000-1200. Measuring 28.4mm in length, 17.7mm in width and 2.5mm in thickness, the strap fitting comprises two openwork sections. The first is a D-shaped plate on its back with a fleur de lys extending upwards and to either side, to touch the curving edges of the 'D'. The lis has grooved decoration, a curving line on each outer leaf and an oval shape at the centre of the upright. A complete late medieval or post-medieval nail or rivet, dating to c.1400-1800. The nail measures 30.51mm in length and weighs 3.35g. The head of the nail (0.8mm thick) has been bent, but is sexfoil in shape (20.25mm in length and 18.78mm in width). An incised circle (diameter of 5.69mm) outlines the top of the shank at the centre. There are traces of gilding on the outside of the head, both within and outside the circle. A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman bracelet, dating to the period AD 43-410. It measures 55.05mm in length and 4.61mm in width at the (old) break, tapering to 2.46mm wide at the opposite, complete and knopped end. In profile the object has been curved into an 'S'. The bracelet is pointed oval in cross-section at the break. The bracelet is decorated with a transverse incised line close to the break and at the other end has a pair of incised lines close to the knop, which is flanked by a transverse groove. The object has a dark green, shiny and smooth patina. The bracelet weighs 2.16g.

An incomplete medieval single loop buckle, dating to the period c. 1250-1450. It is missing its pin. This buckle has an oval frame, measuring 22.12mm in length and 14.04mm in width. The outside edge is 4.02mm thick and is decorated with eight transverse grooves. The bar is thinner, measuring 2.09mm in thickness. Two moulded knops project from either end of this bar, with one transverse incision on the inside of each knop. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman probable Colchester derivative two-piece brooch, dating to the period AD 43-100. The brooch is missing the lower half of the bow and catchplate and the pin. The spring mechanism was iron and has corroded in postiion - it is impossible to say if any is missing due to the extent of the corrosion. An incomplete copper-alloy possible buckle, missing its pin. It is probably Early-Medieval to medieval in date (c. AD 410-1500). The buckle is D-shaped, measuring 14.87mm in length and 8.08mm in total width. A patch of light discolouration halfway down the bar and the outside edge may have been the site of the now missing pin and its rest. The patina is dark green, and there appears to be no decoration on the entire buckle. The buckle weighs 0.43g.

A complete copper-alloy polyhedral-headed pin of Early-Medieval date (AD 410-1066). The head measures 4.1mm wide on each side and is formed from a cuboid with its corners cut off. Each face is decorated by a single punched ring-and-dot, except for the face from which the shank extends (which is undecorated). Aside from the ring-and-dots, there is no other decoration on the pin. There is also no collar between the head and the shaft of the pin, instead the head connects to the shaft, which tapers after one bend to a point. A medieval/ post-medieval rectangular double-looped buckle frame complete with sheet pin, dating to the period 1200-1700. The frame has been bevelled on the outside, measuring 29.29mm in length and 19.75mm in width. Both loops are angled upwards. The frame is 3.07mm in thickness. The pin is D-shaped in cross-section, pointed at the tip and curling around the bar at the other end. The pin measures 19.11mm in length and 3.39mm in width. In total, the buckle weighs 3.68g. There is a buckle similar to this in Whitehead (1996), p75, no.464. The buckle has a dark green patina.
