A fragment of a Roman copper-alloy finger-ring, dating to the period AD 43-410. All that remains of the ring is the bezel and shoulders, although part of the hoop on the right hand has remained, although it has broken off and now bends inwards to the underside of the bezel, measuring 2.62mm in thickness. It is possibly a Henig Type II. The bezel is broadly circular in shape, and measures 10.93 in diameter. A possible Mesolithic to Neolithic fabricator, dating to the period 8000 BC- 1000 BC. It is oblong in shape, measuring 80.18mm in length and 24.39mm at maximum width, though it tapers to a point at either end. The thickness is 15.44mm. It is a secondary flake, as a small portion (no more than 10%) of the cortex survives on the dorsal face at the bottom. Description: An incomplete silver post-medieval dress fastener, probably a cap (or hat) hook, dating to the period AD 1500-1600. This plate resembles a flower, with incisions resembling the folds of the petals and the centre bud of the flower. From the back of this flower plate, where there is no discernible decoration, the hook is attached. It has been flattened on the reverse of the plate and extends between the lower rounded knops. A complete cast copper-alloy medieval pommel from a sword or dagger dating to the period 1150-1450. AD. It is hollow and sub-spherical in form, measuring 16.07mm in height and 17.71mm in width. One face has a smaller hole, measuring 7.64mm in diameter, opposite this is a larger hole. This larger hole has four incisions on the corners, and measures 10.61mm in diameter.
