A complete copper-alloy non-heraldic, anonymous personal seal matrix, dating to the 14th century. It measures 17.92mm in length and 13.72mm in diameter at the base. In total, the seal matrix weighs 4.56g. This seal matrix has a conical, hexagonally faceted handle terminating in a transverse collar with a narrow central groove, above which is a lozenge shaped suspension loop with a central perforation. A complete medieval copper-alloy circular seal matrix, dating to the period 1200-1400. It depicts the head of a stag facing forward within a circular punched border, with the face and antlers stretching the length of the space. There is no further decoration between the antlers, nor in the spaces between the stag's face and the circular punched border. In a ring around this border is the legend, which reads (cross)ROBERTVS SALVAGIVS. A further punched border beyond this flanks the outside edge of the matrix. A complete cast silver post-medieval (c.1500-c.1800) seal matrix. It weighs 8.83g, measuring 21.42mm in length and 16.76mm in width. The seal matrix has oval face which tapers inwards to a narrowly conical handle and terminates in a circular loop. The juncture between the handle and the loop is marked by two circumferential raised collars. Extending down from these raised collars is a band of hexagonally-faceted ribs, on one of these ribs is the maker's mark.
