A copper-alloy Roman barbarous radiate of an uncertain ruler, dating to the period AD 275-285 (Reece Period 14). Uncertain reverse type depicting swastika, uncertain mint.
A parallel to this can be seen in SUSS-7BA3B3. This reverse type doesn't exist in the official coinage of the Gallic emperor and therefore is an invention on the forger's part. In ancient times, the swastika was a symbol of good fortune. Such a design is highly unusual on barbarous radiates.
