An incomplete medieval copper-alloy buckle with integral plate, dating to the period 1200-1400. From the end opposite to the frame the remains of two hooks extend. The buckle measures 39.46mm in length and 15.29mm at its widest. The thickness of the buckle is 2.17mm, and in total it weighs 3.39g. The buckle is complete except for missing its pin and at least one of the hooks. The presence of iron oxide in a piercing in the plate just behind the frame indicates that the pin was made of iron. The buckle is in two pieces, and is incomplete as it is missing one arm of the integral forked spacer, as well as c. one quarter of the buckle frame. The pin is also missing. The buckle has an oval lipped frame, with the outside edge forming a triangular point at the centre and a notch for the pin. An incomplete medieval to post-medieval copper-alloy leg from a cooking vessel, dating to c.1200-1800. It is D-shaped in cross-section, and weighs 154.51. The fragment measures 56.51mm in length and is max.41.18mm wide. The thickness of the leg is max.17.87mm. The front, curved part of the leg is formed of three moulded ridges which run vertically the length of the leg. At the top of the leg part of the curving base of the vesel remains. A complete medieval gilded copper-alloy rectangular horse harness pendant, dating to the period 1175-1400. It is 40.83mm long (with loop) and 30.11mm in width. The pendant itself is 1.19mm thick, and has retained most of its gilding on the front face. The decoration on the front face is a bendy of three, bend dexter (viewer's left going down to the right in a diagonal fashion). Each bend is formed of a pair of wavy lines. A complete half of a cast copper alloy two-piece medieval swivel fitting, dating to c. 1100-1500. It measures 19.65mm in height and 21.57mm in max. width. This half of the swivel fitting is the 'female' half and has a D-shaped frame. The frame is 2.4mm thick. From the straight edge a circular plate (11.5mm in diameter x 2.4mm thick) extends at 90 degrees to the frame. This has a central circular perforation, with a diameter of 5mm. A copper-alloy gilt openwork probable strap fitting, dating to c.1000-1200. Measuring 28.4mm in length, 17.7mm in width and 2.5mm in thickness, the strap fitting comprises two openwork sections. The first is a D-shaped plate on its back with a fleur de lys extending upwards and to either side, to touch the curving edges of the 'D'. The head of the nail (0.8mm thick) has been bent, but is sexfoil in shape (20.25mm in length and 18.78mm in width). An incised circle (diameter of 5.69mm) outlines the top of the shank at the centre. There are traces of gilding on the outside of the head, both within and outside the circle. A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman bracelet, dating to the period AD 43-410. It measures 55.05mm in length and 4.61mm in width at the (old) break, tapering to 2.46mm wide at the opposite, complete and knopped end. In profile the object has been curved into an 'S'. The bracelet is pointed oval in cross-section at the break. The bracelet is decorated with a transverse incised line close to the break and at the other end has a pair of incised lines close to the knop, which is flanked by a transverse groove. The object has a dark green, shiny and smooth patina. The bracelet weighs 2.16g.

An incomplete medieval single loop buckle, dating to the period c. 1250-1450. It is missing its pin. This buckle has an oval frame, measuring 22.12mm in length and 14.04mm in width. The outside edge is 4.02mm thick and is decorated with eight transverse grooves. The bar is thinner, measuring 2.09mm in thickness. Two moulded knops project from either end of this bar, with one transverse incision on the inside of each knop. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman probable Colchester derivative two-piece brooch, dating to the period AD 43-100. The brooch is missing the lower half of the bow and catchplate and the pin. The spring mechanism was iron and has corroded in postiion - it is impossible to say if any is missing due to the extent of the corrosion. The brooch weighs 9.77g, measures 31.02mm in length, with a wingspan of 24.72mm. The maximum thickness of the wingspan is 9.89mm, from here it tapers to a point.
