A complete post medieval pipe tamper, dating to the period 1650-1850. The pipe tamper measures 35.05mm in length and 43.94mm in width. The tamper consists of what possibly is a scroll, clutched in a closed, most likely right hand, fist. The scroll measures 7.35mm in diameter, but tapers inwards before the clenched fist to 3.89mm in diameter. The fist and the curves of each knuckle are denoted by incised grooves, with the thumb a darker brown ridge on the right hand side of the fist. It is Williams Class A, Type 1 and sub-pentagonal in shape, measuring 47.66mm in length and 32.01mm at maximum width. The thickness of the stirrup mount is 4.33mm at the iron rivet, with the main body of the stirrup mount being 2.53mm. A probably late medieval, 14th century gold finger-ring, a plain hoop, rectangular in cross-section, decorated to the outside surface with four grooved Tau crosses (T-shaped, and so-called because of the Greek letter to which it pertains). The Tau crosses are roughly equidistant, though one is a little out. Three of the Tau crosses are the same way up; the fourth is rotated through 180 degrees. The finger-ring measures 17.22mm in diameter and 1.44mm thick. It weighs 2.48g.

A lead-alloy post-medieval tobacco jar lid handle, dating to the period 1650-1750. It is a cast handle, possibly in lozenge shape measuring at maximum 11.24mm in length and 13.23mm at maximum width. The protruding collared central boss extends to a short stalk, 3.69mm in width, which expands again as a skirt, broadly 6.2mm wide, to secure attachment to a lid of different material. The patina is rough and is light brown in colour. In total it weighs 3.35g.

A fragment of a Roman greyware mortaria, dating to the period AD 43- 410. It is broadly rectangular in shape, measuring 37.27mm in length and 35.15mm in width. The fabric is greyware and sandy, and orange in colour on either side as it has been oxidised. However, this oxidisation is not fully completed as the original grey colour can still be seen at the centre of the cross-section. The fragment has small to medium inclusions of quartzite, on what would have been the interior of the mortaria only. It measures 7.55mm in thickness and weighs 14.28g.
