An incomplete copper-alloy early early-medieval buckle plate, dating to the period c.AD 500-600. The mount is rectangular in shape and has old damage to one corner, where it is missing its rivet and the area of the mount around it. The object measures 32.13mm in length, 25.70mm in width and 2.65mm thick. It weighs 9.41g. Within the mount is an inlaid garnet or red glass rectangular shape, 9mm in length by 5.51mm in width, which is framed by zoomorphic designs. A complete square double-sided copper-alloy coin weight, dating to the period AD 1612-1633. The weight is for a unite (22 shillings) of James I. It is slightly bevelled on all sides from the obverse (value face) to the reverse (bust face). The weight weighs 4.14g, the circular border has a diameter of 13.67mm and a thickness of 3.22mm. The obverse shows St Michael spearing a dragon. In the field are the letters BRI, with perhaps IR for Iacobus Rex, which has either worn flat or worn off the flan. A medieval/ post-medieval rectangular double-looped buckle frame complete with sheet pin, dating to the period 1200-1700. The frame has been bevelled on the outside, measuring 29.29mm in length and 19.75mm in width. Both loops are angled upwards. The frame is 3.07mm in thickness. The pin is D-shaped in cross-section, pointed at the tip and curling around the bar at the other end. The pin measures 19.11mm in length and 3.39mm in width. In total, the buckle weighs 3.68g. There is a buckle similar to this in Whitehead (1996), p75, no.464. The buckle has a dark green patina.

An incomplete post-medieval copper-alloy double looped, rectangular buckle with attached 'chape', dating probably to the 17th/ 18th century. The pin is missing. The buckle measures 21.45mm in length and 14.71mm in width. The frame has been bevelled and is 3.11mm in thickness. A complete copper-alloy polyhedral-headed pin of Early-Medieval date (AD 410-1066). The head measures 4.1mm wide on each side and is formed from a cuboid with its corners cut off. Each face is decorated by a single punched ring-and-dot, except for the face from which the shank extends (which is undecorated). Aside from the ring-and-dots, there is no other decoration on the pin. There is also no collar between the head and the shaft of the pin, instead the head connects to the shaft, which tapers after one bend to a point. An incomplete copper-alloy possible buckle, missing its pin. It is probably Early-Medieval to medieval in date (c. AD 410-1500). The buckle is D-shaped, measuring 14.87mm in length and 8.08mm in total width. A patch of light discolouration halfway down the bar and the outside edge may have been the site of the now missing pin and its rest. The patina is dark green, and there appears to be no decoration on the entire buckle. The buckle weighs 0.43g.

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman probable Colchester derivative two-piece brooch, dating to the period AD 43-100. The brooch is missing the lower half of the bow and catchplate and the pin. The spring mechanism was iron and has corroded in postiion - it is impossible to say if any is missing due to the extent of the corrosion. The brooch weighs 9.77g, measures 31.02mm in length, with a wingspan of 24.72mm. The maximum thickness of the wingspan is 9.89mm, from here it tapers to a point. An incomplete medieval single loop buckle, dating to the period c. 1250-1450. It is missing its pin. This buckle has an oval frame, measuring 22.12mm in length and 14.04mm in width. The outside edge is 4.02mm thick and is decorated with eight transverse grooves. The bar is thinner, measuring 2.09mm in thickness. Two moulded knops project from either end of this bar, with one transverse incision on the inside of each knop. Traces of a grey substance on both faces of the buckle suggest possible traces of a whilte metal coating. There is no further decoration on either side of the buckle…
