A complete flint worked flake of Mesolithic date (9000-3450BC). The lithic is sub triangular in plan and plano in section. The dorsal surface contains two predominant negative scars with corresponding arises. The proximal and right hand edges contain semi abrupt retouch. The left edge has been abruptly blunted with the left and right edges tapering to a point at the distal end. The ventral surface is predominantly smooth. A group of 2 flint microliths of Mesolithic date (9000-3450 BC). The lithics are sub-triangular in plan and plano-convex in section. Lithic no. 1 retains a small amount of cortex on the dorsal and is therefore a secondary flake. Lithic no. 2 retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake. The flakes are a dark grey in colour.
