A medieval buckle plate fragment, dating to circa AD 1200-1500.  One short edge has a circular cut out, presumably where the pin would have passed through on a seperate buckle frame. The buckle plate is decorated along the short edge without the cut out with a zig zag pattern with a vertical line adjacent. The circles have a broad rim in light relief. Two of the circles are less worn than thr other two.
