An early medieval copper alloy brooch fragment dating to AD 450-550.  The fragment consists of the lower bow and fantail foot from a small long brooch. The fragment consists of a rectangular section that extends into a fantail foot. At the reverse are the remains of the catchplate at the upper edge. The front face is decorated with a series of horizontal linear grooves. The object has a green coloured surface patina. An almost complete lead or lead alloy pilgrims ampulla dating to the medieval period, circa late 12th - 15th century (AD 1175-1500). The ampulla is broadly rectangular in shape, with a rectangular neck that narrows slightly before extending to a circular body. There are two handles are present at the neck of the vessel. A Roman copper alloy radiate of Carausius (AD 286-93) Reece Period 14. Reverse: LAETITIA AVG, depicting Laetitia holding standing left, holding wreath and anchor. No mintmark / unatttributed mint. RIC V, pt 2 - This is only the second coin of its type known, the other piece being in a private collection. The obverse legend, VIRTVS CARAVSI, proclaims the 'courage' of Carausius, matched by his military attire. This coin was struck in the first years of his reign.

A complete although slightly damaged copper alloy strap end, dating to the Early Medieval period, circa AD 800 - 900. The strap end is broadly oval in plan. The upper edge of the strap is slightly damaged and is where the strap end would have been attached to a leather strap. A Post Medieval copper alloy spur fragment probably dating to the 17th or 18th centuries. The spur is now incomplete and consists of the heel and incomplete arms. The breaks on the arms may have occurred in the plough soil. The arms have a 'D' shaped cross section, with a flat inner surface and convex outer surface. Integral to the exterior edge is a protrusion which originally held the rowel. The protrusion has a circular cross section. The protrusion is sliced in half lengthways. A copper alloy knop of uncertain date. The object is circular in plan with a rounded and slightly flattened top. The object is hollow with a circular perforation on the underside. This perforation measures 4.87 mm in diameter. The object has a mid-green coloured patina. The function of the object is uncertain however it is probably a decoration from a larger object, possibly a brooch, similar to those seen on roman crossbow brooches. It may also be from a purse bar or vessel lid. The object measures 15.58 mm in dimeter, 10.68 mm in thickness and weighs 3.2 grams.
