A Roman copper-alloy mount, dating to circa AD 43 - 410.  A broadly circular mount with decoration and enamel inlay on the front face.The design consists of a central square that is slightly recessed with a coloured border. The circumference of the mount has the same width and coloured border. Each corner of the square has a small linear rib joining the square to the outer border. A fragment from a vessel, probably a jug or a small amphora of Roman date, circa Ad 43-410.  The fragment consists of a small section of rim and body that contains the remains of the handle. The remains of the handle have a width of 42.3 mm. The fabric is a cream colour with frequent inclusions between 1 to 2 mm in size. The fabric is abraded in the internal surface.  The fragment measures 63.2 mm in height, 61.1 mm in width, 19 mm in thickness and weighs 57.4 grams.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy enamelled disc brooch of Roman date, circa (AD 80 - 250). The pin is now missing and the catchplate and lug at the reverse are damaged. The brooch is flat and circular in plan. There are oval shaped protruding knops located at the outer edges placed either side of the pin mechanism at the reverse. An incomplete copper alloy supporting arm brooch of Early Anglo-Saxon dating (AD 400 to AD 500). The object is broadly an inverted triangle in plan. The upper part of the object is broadly rectangular. The object then tapers and curves into a bow and terminates with a patinated break. An Iron Age copper-alloy strap junction dating to circa 150 BC to AD 100.  There are three conjoined incomplete circular loops.The breaks have well-developed patinas. There is a slight depression in the centre of the loops. The object has a light green coloured surface patina.  There are other harness fittings recorded on the PAS database of a similar form; WAW-CA0CC0 is a complete example discovered in Warwickshire although it has a central boss in the centre. A fragment of a Middle Bronze Age copper alloy palstave dating circa 1500-1150 BC. The fragment consists of the crescentic cutting edge and lower blade. The upper body terminates in a worn and irregular break. The solid cross-section suggests the object is a palstave rather than a socketed axehead, although there is no evidence for a central casting seam on the side. A Roman copper-alloy possible knife handle dating to circa AD 43-410.  The object appears to be in the form of an open-mouthed lion. The handle is solid and broadly rectangular in form. One short edge is damaged and the opposing end has a zoomorphic terminal. The detail is worn and damaged however a gaping mouth is visible with an incised eye at either side of the head. An incomplete cast copper alloy barbed and tanged arrowhead, dating to the Bronze Age, between 1350 - 1050 BC. The arrowhead is triangular in form. In antiquity the object would have had two barbs and a central tang. Only one barb is now complete. The remaining barb is broader at the body and tapers to a rounded damaged point. An incomplete cast lead alloy form or model for the manufacture of a two part Colchester derivative Polden Hill brooch of early Roman date (80-120 AD). Usually these types of brooches date to the 1st to 2nd century, when they are made from copper alloy. However, this brooch is made from lead or lead alloy, and was made as the first stage to manufacturing brooches.
