A complete post-medieval iron sword belt fitting, probably dating late 16th - early 17th century. The fitting comprises of two identical, almost linear arms connected at one end with a curve. There is an hook on the curve that joins the arms, where the sword would have hung from. On each arm from the attachment curve there is a shoulder projecting approx. 2.5mm either side of the arm. In the centre of each shoulder there is an in-situ iron rivet, with a large head remaining on the reverse of the right rivet and the remains of leather attached to both. An incomplete Post Medieval iron candle holder, probably dating 17th - early 18th century. The object consists of a beam with a wax pan attached. One end of the beam acts as a handle, with the end tapering slightly before widening again to form a rounded terminal. The beam splits into two parts, protruding outwards on both sides to form a circular shape, before coming back together again. The beam then tapers to form a spike, probably for attachment into timber, part of which is now missing due to corrosion. A complete Post Medieval iron key dating to the 16th century. The key has a D-sectioned, heart-shaped loop, with a knop on the point of the heart. The stem is solid, being trapezoidal in-section as it moves away from the loop, leading to 3 raised, concentric ribs. The stem then narrows and becomes circular-sectioned at approximately the half-way point, and continues to taper as it reaches the end of the key bit. A complete Post Medieval iron knife probably dating to the 16th-17th century (AD1550-1700). The blade is triangular in section curving gently round on to the back rather than being pointed. There is a shoulder at the end of the blade which curves up, leading to a solid iron handle which is octagonal in section. The handle gets thicker away from the blade, and then narrower towards the top. There is a semi-spherical knop at the end of the handle.
