A complete copper-alloy collared pin of Early-Medieval date (700AD-900AD). The head is globular with a flat top. Ring and dot decoration adorns the head, with five small ring and dot features spaced evenly longitudinally around the centre and most bulbous area of the pin head. There is also a larger ring and dot on the flat top. Below the head is a single step collar. The pin itself is intact and smooth, circular in cross-section, with a consistent cross-section diameter tapering only at the point.
