A Post Medieval copper alloy double loop buckle frame, dating to the period c.AD 1550-1650. It is missing its pin and plate. The axis bar is narrowed with a knop at each terminus, each decorated with three moulded lines radiating from the axis bar towards the edge. These knops curve out to form a loop to each side, D shaped in plan. From the outer edge of the apex of each loop projects a knop in the form of two moulded stepped ridges followed by a lozenge. A post-medieval copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame dating to the period c. 1600-1700. The buckle is missing its plate and part of its pin. The frame and axis bar are trapezoidal in cross section. The axis bar is narrowed and holds the remains of the copper alloy pin. This is rectangular in cross-section and tapers to an old break about halfway along its length. The axis bar has triangular knop at each terminus.
