A blue glass annular bead of uncertain date, potentially Iron Age to early medieval, c. 600 BC - AD 800. The bead is sub-circular in plan and sub-oval in cross section, with an of centre circular perforation. The glass is of an opaque dark blue, containing very abundant air bubbles, some of which break the surface, and with internal spiralling bands of yellow-green colouration visible when viewed under bright light. Two Post-Medieval glass bottle seals dating broadly to the 17th or 18th century, found alongside a large amount of unrecorded body sherds. Both sherds are of an extremely similar translucent green glass. Both seals are intact: - The first is circular, 29.8mm in diameter and between 6.7mm thick in the centre and 9.9mm at one point around the edge. In the center the initials "T x F" are stamped in relief on its surface.
