A D-shaped flint knife of Early-Mid Neolithic date Description: The knife is formed from a secondary flake, roughly D-shaped in plan.. It has had long thin removals on the ventral face. Along the right edge of the ventral face is a short edge of short irregular scaled low angle retouch. The bulb of percussion and all conchoidal rippling is very pronounced indicating hard hammer technology The flint is a solid grey brown colour save a tiny section of white cortex on the striking platform.
