An incomplete copper alloy Roman (AD 43- 410) 'hook and eye' type bracelet, consisting of the eyelet and probably just less than half of the bracelet, ending in an old break. The bracelet retains its curved 'C' shape. The eyelet is rectangular with rounded corners at the terminal end, it is perforated with a sub circular hole for attaching to the now missing hook. Below this is a grooved line, with a raised moulded rectangle creating a collar to the eyelet. An incomplete copper alloy Roman Hod Hill type brooch without side lugs, dating AD 43-70. The brooch consists of the length of the bow, and is missing the pin and axis bar, part of the wings and most of the foot. The bow is triangular in shape, expanding at the top for the head with a notch for the pin. The head curves outwards towards the bow and there are traces of iron corrosion in the curve. An incomplete Roman copper alloy T-shaped brooch with hinge mechanism dating AD c.50-150, missing it's pin and terminal end. The tubular wings span 19.5mm with the bow projecting from the centre. One of the wings may have been broken, and there is white concretion in the end. On the reverse of the wings is a central slot for the pin, the hinge bar is still in situ but corroded (and probably iron). The bow has moulded decoration which is very worn. The wings are C-shaped in cross section and span 23.2mm. There are traces of an incised transverse line at either end of the wings. A fragment of a Roman copper-alloy nail cleaner, consisting of the lower part of the cleaner. The remaining fragment is flat and rectangular. The break is recent. The cleaner terminates with two prongs; the central perforation is triangular in shape. There are horizontal lines running across the width on both sides of the nail cleaner, immediately below the break, this is probably remains of decoration. A fragment of a copper alloy Roman bow brooch dating from the 1st to the early 2nd century AD. The fragment consists of the catch plate, lower bow and foot. The catch plate is sub-triangular in shape and has an openwork frame. The foot consists of a knop protruding from the base of the bow. The bow is thin and oval shaped in cross-section. It is undecorated and has a light green patina. The fragment measures 25.8mm in length and 12.7mm in maximum width. The bow of the brooch measures 1.9mm by 3.8mm in cross section. The fragment weighs 1.89g.
