Medieval cast copper alloy single looped buckle with integral forked spacer and pin. The buckle frame is sub-oval projecting out to a pointed pin rest in the centre of the outer side. It is triangular in section with a flat back and inner edge and an angled outer side. The forked spacer joins the frame at the strap bar. There is a central gap between the forks with just a narrow strap bar around which the pin has been bent, the pin being a very thin piece of wire,13.6mms long, now somewhat bent.
