A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy spherical animal 'crotal' bell (c1600-c1800).
The rectangular suspension loop at the top is 11 mm high, 17mm wide,3.9mm thick and has a rough circular shaped perforation. The upper and lower hemispheres are divided by a prominent central horizontal circumferential joining rib. At either side of the suspension loop, about half way down the side of the upper hemisphere, is a circular sound hole. Two sound holes in the lower hemisphere are integral with a sound "slit". An incomplete medieval lead ampulla. It has a rounded body, with a concave neck extending to the opening. Originally hollow inside, both faces have now been pressed together. The neck is damaged, it is now ragged possibly where it has been torn across. The stubs of the handles are visible on both sides of the neck, at it's narrowist point. On one face is a faint relief design, possibly a four leaf motif. The opposite face is plain. The lead is heavily patinated, grey-white in colour and slightly pitted.

Roman denarius, probably a silver plated copy, hybrid with an obverse of Vespasian and a reverse proper to Domitian dating to AD 81 (Reece Period 4). Obverse: IMP CAESAR VESPASIA[NVS AVG], laureate head right. Reverse: [TR P COS VII] DES VIII P P, Thunderbolt on draped throne.
A similar hybrid, with an obverse of Titus, is listed in the 1926 edition of RIC II as no. 226. In the revised 2007 edition of RIC II (Pt.1), it has been removed and described as a plated hybrid (see p. 366).

A cast lead seal matrix dating to the Medieval period. The object is pointed oval, thick and flat, sub-rectangular in cross-section, commonly known as a vesica seal. The central device is 5 broad oval shapes around a small central circle, making up a five-petal flower.
Surrounding this, the legend is set between grooved borders, and reads + S' AVICIE. FIL' ALEX (Seal of Avicie daughter of Alexander). The A and L in Alex are ligated. The engraving is competent and clear.
