An unpatinated flint flake of Later Prehistoric date. It is struck from a light to mid brown glassy flint. It has a prominent bulb of percussion and strongly defined concentric ripples on the ventral face. There are at least two flakes removed from the dorsal face. Circa 5% cortex remaining on the dorsal face. This flint measures 50.88mm in length, 28.64mm in width, 4.03mm in thickness, 5.39g in weight.

An incomplete and worn lead cloth seal of Post-Medieval date. It is missing the part of the front disc and rivet and the back disc due to old breaks, now worn. It is flat. The front face is decorated with the letter C to the left of a building, perhaps a town hall. On the back face are the remains of an integral rivet with a flattened oval face that would have been pushed through the second, now missing disc. This cloth seal measures 17.91mm in diameter, 2.08mm in thickness, 3.19g in weight.

One face is decorated with the ligated letters A R?. The other face is undecorated. This cloth seal measures 12.43mm in diameter, 3.55mm in thickness, 2.58g in weight. There are similar examples of privy cloth seals recorded by Egan (Egan, 1995, p.181-182).

An incomplete cast lead four part cloth seal of Post-Medieval date. Only one disc survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. It is flat and circular in form. The front face is decorated with a crown with the value 1 ½ beneath. This value indicates the tax rate in pence. The back face is undecorated. This cloth seal measures 13.65mm in diameter, 1.15mm in thickness, 1.08g in weight. There is a similar example recorded by Egan (Egan, 1995, p.179, no. 184) and recorded on the PAS database (SF4628), (SF4627).

On the back face is an integral rivet with a flattened oval face that would have been pushed through the second, now missing disc. This cloth seal measures14.87mm in diameter, 3.96mm in thickness, 3.32g in weight. There are similar examples recorded by Egan (Egan, 1995, nos. 52, 108, 124-125 and 165) and recorded on the PAS database (SF-10DF74), (SF-AF8053), (SF-DC9F34).

This coin weight measures 15.47mm in diameter, 2.25mm in thickness, 2.45g in weight. This is a British weight for the French (or Spanish) pistole (Louis d'or) ca. 1690 (Withers and Withers, 1995, p. 34).

A fragment from a grey volcanic lava stone quern of uncertain date. Only part of one face survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. The remains are sub-rectangular in form with a grinding face that has multiple parallel grooves. All edges terminate in old breaks. This quern measures 135.99mm in length, 128.90mm in width, 24.05mm in thickness, 602g in weight. The grooves on the quern are very large, perhaps suggesting it is a fragment from a Medieval millstone.

An incomplete copper-alloy rectangular staple of Medieval date. It is missing one terminal due to old breaks, now worn. It is flat and undecorated. The main plate tapers towards triangular terminals. One is still complete and is bent forwards approximately 45 degrees. This staple measures 37.83mm in length, 7.93mm in width, 1.26mm in thickness, 2.03g in weight. There are similar examples from Norwich (Margeson, 1993, p. 139, no. 939, 943).

An incomplete oval copper-alloy Post-Medieval knife handle end cap. The end cap is in the form of a double horse-hoof terminal, each 'hoof' being circular in section and curving away from the other. The front face of each 'hoof' is decorated with a trefoil of circular depressions in 1,2 formation. At the base of the cap is a rectangular slot with the remains of an iron tang, now corroded. This knife handle end cap measures 14.39mm in length, 13.72mm in width, 6.99mm in thickness, 3.79g in weight. There are similar examples recorded on the PAS database (SF-BABA96), (SF-410D06)…

On the front face is a central die depicting a large bird of prey with a curvy beak, possibly a hawk, pecking at a smaller bird beneath its feet. This is surrounded by a legend that reads +CREDE MICHI, which means 'Believe me'. The back is flat with an oval integral pierced suspension lug towards the top.
