A medieval silver sesino of Galeazzo and Bernabo Visconti, Lords of Milan (1354-1378), issue without marks dating after AD1355, mint: Milan (Lombardy, Italy). Ref: Day et al 2016: p.449, pl. 35 nos 614-17.
Approximately a quarter of the outer rim of the coin is missing, broken along the lineof the inner circle.
obverse: B G VICECOM[ITES]; 'Visconti snake' (biscia) eating 'Saracen'.
reverse: MEDIOLANVM depicting a cross.
The coin appears to have been pierced, once directly through the centre, with a second, smaller hole just below.

A small bodysherd of a Medieval vessel dating to c. AD 1100-1500. The fabric is a hard fired, rough and sandy with abundant translucent grey/white sandy quartz inclusions. The outer surface is a buff colour and smooth with a row of vertical rouletted lines (and possibly a second row just visible). The inner surface is a darker buff colour with some patches of darker grey and is rough and gritty. The core is a darker unoxidised grey.
Dimensions: length 31.6mm; width 27.7mm; thickness 5.4mm; weight 5.11g.

An incomplete medieval copper alloy single loop buckle dating to c AD1350-1450. The buckle is incomplete. It comprises a single oval lipped frame with the remains of the integral, forked spacers which have broken just below the buckle frame.
Dimensions: 22.05mm width; 20.5mm length; 2.43mm thickness; 2.1g weight.

A medieval cast copper alloy D-shaped buckle dating to c AD1250-1500. The buckle is complete and comprises a single D-shaped loop with a narrowed and offset strap bar. There is a copper alloy pin which is fixed by folding the end around the strap bar.
Dimensions: 16.07mm width; 13.16mm length; 2.02mm thickness; 1.16g weight.

A ceramic body sherd from a crudely made medieval vessel dating to c. AD 1075-1250. Kennet Valley ware. The sherd has a grey fabric with iron rich inclusions as well as flint and organic material. One surface has an applied red slip and the other may have evidence of cooking residue.
Dimensions: length: 42.8mm; width: 33.9mm; thickness: 6.4mm; weight: 11.87g.
Found a number of years ago by the finder.

A copper alloy with glass stone mount or pendant/brooch probably medieval dating to c AD 1100-1400. The mount is oval with a band of chevron decoration around a slightly off centre cabochon glass stone set in a bezel with a raised rim, which is slightly damaged. Surrounding the bezel are radiating double incised lines surrounded by an incised oval line with the chevron decoration around it. A complete medieval cast copper alloy zoomorphic spout from a ewer dating to c. AD 1400-1500. The hollow spout is long and curves down from the head to a tapering point with a deep gully for the liquid.
