A copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill ((Mackreth 2011, Part 3, Group 4.f, flat wing ends type). Dating to the period AD 75-200. The brooch is incomplete and is missing the end of the bow (including the catchplate) and the pin and spring mechanism. In the centre at the top of the brooch, there is a raised semi-circular knop. The wings extend out to either side with a raised rim at the terminal ends. The terminals of the wings are enclosed with small raised marks where the spring retaining bar was presumably placed. A pointed oval Medieval copper alloy seal matrix dating to the period AD c1200-1400. The seal matrix has an integral lug at the top of the back and a ridge running along its length. In the centre of the seal matrix is a depiction of the Paschal Lamb and a flag within a pointed oval groove delineating the device from the inscription. The inscription around the edge reads + S' IOhIS: CISSOnIS* (Seal of John Sissons). Sissons is derived from son of Ciss, i.e. Cicely.
The seal matrix is 31.53mm in length, the width is 19.87mm, the maximum thickness is 8.50mm. It weighs 8.65g.

An incomplete copper-alloy bell. Around half of the bell is missing. It is broadly conical with a circular base and convex sides; it expands from 7.3mm in diameter at the loop to 24.50mm at the base.The suspension loop is flat, lozenge-shaped externally and has a circular perforation. The clapper is missing. The patina is dark green and the body of the bell is decorated with two incised circumferential lines forming a band about halfway down.

A copper alloy zoomorphic nail cleaner strap end dating to AD 250-410. The zoomorphic representation has been suggested as depicting a fish and this together with the cross on the 'head' suggests possible Christian iconography.

A fragment of a cast copper-alloy Roman knobbed bracelet, probably from the c. 3rd-4th centuries AD. The bracelet is D-shaped in cross-section, is solid-cast and has deep grooves to immitate rectanglar shaped beads alternating with a narrow raised band that is decorated with small incised lines, suggesting further beading or braiding. Although beaded examples are found dating to the Late Iron Age, those examples are frequently hollow, with enlarged beadwork (for a similar example recorded on the PAS database, cf.: HAMP-E3D4F1). A copper-alloy Medieval seal matrix dating to the !4th century AD. The seal matrix is circular and flat, broadly rectangular in cross section. On the reverse there are the remnants of an incomplete loop, broken at the perforation through a short ridge that extends from near the edge to the centre of the object. An incomplete copper alloy Roman T shaped brooch dating to AD 50-150. The pin is missing as is the lower part of the bow. At the top of the brooch the loop has broken off. There are then two arms which make a T bar. The bow is decorated with raised lines down the edge and horizontally which frame two lozengiform shapes surrounded by triangular spaces.
