A copper alloy medieval buckle plate dating to c AD 1200-1450. The buckle plate comprises an almost square plate of copper alloy which has two holes pierced in at the corners of one edge and at the opposite end there are two hooks which would have held the pin attachment bar. The back of the plate is undecorated. The front of the plate is decorated with champlevee. The decoration comprises what appears to be a bird entwined with leaves. A copper alloy strap fitting from a sword belt dating to c AD 1500-1600. The fitting is missing one of the three suspension loops. The object comprises a band with foliate decoration. There are three rivet holes, one at either end and one in the centre. Hanging from the band are two suspension loops. The central suspension contains the remnants of an incomplete hooked mount which has a circular-section hook with a globular terminal. The hooked mount is broken at a rivet hole. The back of the strap fitting is incomplete. There is evidence of tinning on both sides of the strap fitting. …

A post medieval copper alloy strap fitting from a sword belt dating to c AD 1600-1700. The strap fitting comprises a convex plate with two rivets and a suspension loop at one end. Attached to the suspension loop is an attachment link with an open-work trefoil (on of the loops is incomplete). At the top of the plate, it a knop with a rivet hole. A copper alloy a strap end dating to the period AD c 1270-1450. The object is incomplete. It comprises a sub-rectangular prong which narrows to a blunt point. At the top of the prong, there is a sloping shoulder which leads to a collar topped by an acorn knop (8.74mm from collar to the top). The acorn knop has incised cross hatch detail around the 'cup' and dots at the top. The knop then leads down to a matching second shoulder which became a second prong (this is mostly missing).
