A small fragment of copper alloy two strand twisted cable that possibly comprised part of a Roman bracelet.  The cable comprises two oval strands of copper alloy twisted together.  The thickness of the cable narrows gradually towards one end.  The patina is light green with darker green patches over a dark reddish brown core.  The design is similar to those in Crummy p38 (two strand cables).  However the reddish brown colour of the internal core indicates that this fragment may not be Roman but significantly later.

A fragment of a copper alloy Roman bracelet dating to c AD 320-450. The fragment comprises a short curved section of a stamped ''S' or 'C' decoration armlet. The bracelet is crudely made with uneven edges. The band gradually narrows towards the missing clasp and it probably had a hook-and-eye clasp originally. There is a band of decoration around the circumference of the bracelet which appears to be 'S' shaped (although it is poorly formed and may be 'C' shaped). A fragment of a copper alloy bracelet or armlet of strip (multiple motifs) type and dating to the mid-3rd-4th century AD. In cross section the bracelet is rectangle. This terminal has diagonal slashes which lead to an undecorated section before a section of transverse lines with dots between.
