A post medieval copper alloy possible bead dating to c AD 1660-1790.  The bead is slightly squashed and has a vertical break.  The bead is circular and is convex in profile with a small raised rim on either side of the bead and a central section which curves out.  The curved section is decorated has small circular raised flowers with a central pellet.  The flowers appear to be joined by foliate decoration and along the circumference of each rim is a row of raised pellets or knops.  The decoration raised on a field of tiny pellets.  Inside the bead is …
