An incomplete Roman copper alloy applied hook brooch of Mackreth's (2011) type 1.a, dating to AD 25-100. The remnants of the brooch comprise the head, incomplete wings; bow which is missing part of the catchplate and; a small fragment of the decorative front plate. The srung pin is missing as is most of the front plate. The wings are heavily abraded and are now flat in cross section, with rounded ends. An incomplete Middle to Late Bronze Age copper alloy sickle, probably dating to c. 1500-800 BC. The surviving fragment comprises a sub-triangular, curving section of the blade, tapering into an abraded point at the tip. Both edges are similarly abraded. The blade is lenticular in cross section, with a central ridge on both faces, tapering into the edges. The blade is truncated by an old break.
