A copper alloy unidentified object possibly Roman or early medieval dating to c AD 43-1066. The object is assymetric, the main body of the artefact is solid and broadly cylindrical, at each of the cardinal points are projections of varying forms, above ia a complete loop and the base exhibits a incomplete projection. At the top is a D shaped loop which has been drilled on one side, although the loop is not perforated. The projections inline with the loop are curved, broadly forming an S. A copper alloy unidentified object which is probably early medieval in date, c. AD 600-800. The object appears to be complete. The object may be a clothing or belt hook in the shape of a zoomorphic fish possibly in Oseberg style. The object has a curvilinear outline. At one end, there is a bifurcated tail with one half of the tail curving round with a hole in the centre, this hole was probably an attachment loop.
