A copper alloy stud or tack dating to the medieval period c1400-1540 AD. The stud comprises a shank which is square in cross section. The end of the shank appears to be missing. The top of the stud comprises a sub-circular flat section with raised relief. The top of the stud depicts a flower with a central circle surrounded by two rings of five petals. Between the outer ring of petals there appear to be sepals. The top appears to be broken or clipped as it is no longer a symmetrical shape.
