A copper alloy medieval to post-medieval buckle. The buckle is incomplete as there are breaks at the ends of the sections. At the top is is a circular loop. Beneath the loop and at right angles to it, a section extends horizontally - it appears that there was a similar extension to the other side but this is missing. The horizontal section then turns downwards at right angles and forms a slightly wider and flatter section, which is broken at the end. Directly beneath the loop, a circular section spike continues downwards, this is broken at the end.
