A medieval copper alloy buckle plate dating to c AD 1200-1400. The buckle plate is incomplete and is bent and damaged. The remnant of the buckle plate comprises a rectangular sheet of copper alloy. The attachment end is truncated in line with two rivet holes, with a third, central rivet hole below the buckle end. Beyond the central rivet hole are the truncated remnants of one of the recessed hooks that looped over the offset bar of the buckle frame and then looped back down to the central rivet. There is evidence of gilding on the front of the buckle plate.

An medieval copper alloy buckle dating to c AD 1150 - 1250. The buckle is missing the bar which holds the pin. The object comprises an ovoid frame with hooks extending from each of the long sides of the oval frame. The hooks terminate in a zoomorphic head which may be a snake or possibly a dog and which face each other across the centre of the front of the buckle. The zoomorphic heads comprise a snout which broadens out and forms a small 'brow' ridge and on top of the head are two raised horns or ears.
