The buckle plate comprises an almost square plate of copper alloy which has two holes pierced in at the corners of one edge and at the opposite end there are two hooks which would have held the pin attachment bar. The back of the plate is undecorated. The front of the plate is decorated with champlevee. The decoration comprises what appears to be a bird entwined with leaves. A copper alloy buckle plate dating to the period c AD 1250-1400. The buckle plate is incomplete as the loops to contain the buckle are missing. The buckle plate is rectangular in shape with the incomplete buckle bar loops indented at one short end and two rivet holes with the remnants of iron nails at the other end. The plate is decorated with raised relief and the design appears to be of a mythological beast or bird. The back of the plate is undecorated. The patina is a mid green with the raised relief a reddish brown. There is evidence of iron corrosion close to the rivet holes.

A copper alloy double loop annular buckle dating to c AD 1350-1650. The buckle is undecorated and comprises a circular band 9.03mm wide and 3.30 thick. The sides are bevelled so that the profile is D shaped. There is an integral bar across the centre of the circular band which also has bevelled sides. A copper alloy medieval buckle plate dating to the period c AD1250-1500. The buckle plate is complete and comprises a sheet of copper alloy which has been folded in half and has had a hole and sections at either side cut to fit the offset strap bar. There are three copper alloy rivets through the plate and on the top surface, these have decorative square studs. The top surface of the plate has an incised line around the edge and in the centre has foliate curvilinear decoration. A medieval copper alloy single loop buckle dating to the period AD c1250-1400. The buckle comprises an oval frame with two lobed knops on the outer edges. There is a copper alloy pin. Behind the oval frame is a transverse ridge. There is then the remnants of a rivet suggesting that there was an integral plate which is now missing. The patina is light green and the buckle is corroded so that the pin is fixed to the frame and at the strap bar. A copper alloy medieval to post-medieval buckle. The buckle is incomplete as there are breaks at the ends of the sections. At the top is is a circular loop. Beneath the loop and at right angles to it, a section extends horizontally - it appears that there was a similar extension to the other side but this is missing. The horizontal section then turns downwards at right angles and forms a slightly wider and flatter section, which is broken at the end. Directly beneath the loop, a circular section spike continues downwards, this is broken at the end.
