A medieval copper alloy buckle plate dating to c AD 1200-1400. The buckle plate is incomplete and is bent and damaged. The remnant of the buckle plate comprises a rectangular sheet of copper alloy. The attachment end is truncated in line with two rivet holes, with a third, central rivet hole below the buckle end. Beyond the central rivet hole are the truncated remnants of one of the recessed hooks that looped over the offset bar of the buckle frame and then looped back down to the central rivet. There is evidence of gilding on the front of the buckle plate.

A medieval copper alloy single loop buckle with forked spacer dating to c AD 1350-1450. The buckle has an integral forked spacer onto which originally front and back plates had been soldered. The loop of the buckle is ovoid with a small point at the opposite side to the pin and with a small indentation to hold the pin. The loop of the buckl is attached to the remains of the spacer plates, the long ends have broken off. the pin comprises a flat pointed strip of copper alloy which has been wrapped around the bar between the spacer plates. A copper alloy medieval single loop D-shaped buckle dating to c AD 1250-1400. The buckle is complete. It comprises a D shaped frame which broadens as it reaches the centre where there is small triangular depression to fit the pin. The D shape changes direction just before the bar which is integral to the frame. The pin is a single piece of copper alloy which is curled round the bar and then narrows towards the top edge of the frame. The patina is a brownish green with small patches of lighter green. A cast copper-alloy double loop oval spectacle buckle dating to the period c 1350-1650. The pin is missing. The front of the buckle is undecorated with obliquely angled edges along the outside of the fram and on the inside edges of the loops. The strap bar is narrowed and broadly trapezoidal in section. The reverse is flat. The surfaces of the buckle are slightly worn with green patina with evidence of corrosion. Cf Whitehead No 294.

The buckle comprises a single loop which narrows to a straight strip with a rivet hole and rivet, the flat strip is broken just past the rivet hole. The back of the buckle is undecorated. A medieval copper alloy buckle with integral plate dating to c AD 1200-1230. The buckle is missing its pin but is otherwise complete. The buckle comprises an oval frame with a notched lip to hold the pin and the frame curves up slightly next to the hole for the missing pin. The plate is bilobed and apart from the hole for the pin there is also a rivet hole in the lower lobe. The frame of the buckle has bevelled outer edges and a narrowed strap bar which is slightly recessed from the frame. There is evidence of sprue along one of the sides of the loops. The object comprises an ovoid frame with hooks extending from each of the long sides of the oval frame. The hooks terminate in a zoomorphic head which may be a snake or possibly a dog and which face each other across the centre of the front of the buckle. The zoomorphic heads comprise a snout which broadens out and forms a small 'brow' ridge and on top of the head are two raised horns or ears. The buckle is trapezoidal in shape and is decorated with three lobed knops on the outer edges and centre of the front of the frame. A copper alloy tongue from an early medieval Anglo-Saxon buckle dating to AD 575-625. The tongue is a 'shield-on-tongue' type which is in the shape of a violin or guitar. The tongue is incomplete and is missing its attachment on the back. The object has a curved end and the sides are then indented before flaring out and curving round to form a flat section at the top of the 'shield'.
