A medieval copper alloy buckle with integral plate dating to c AD 1200-1230. The buckle is missing its pin but is otherwise complete. The buckle comprises an oval frame with a notched lip to hold the pin and the frame curves up slightly next to the hole for the missing pin. The plate is bilobed and apart from the hole for the pin there is also a rivet hole in the lower lobe. The patina is orangey brown with green patches which appear to have been a dressing over the buckle. The buckle weighs 3.1g and measures 29.88mm in length, 16.72mm in width and 3.28mm in thickness. A copper alloy double loop annular buckle dating to c AD 1350-1650. The buckle is undecorated and comprises a circular band 9.03mm wide and 3.30 thick. The sides are bevelled so that the profile is D shaped. There is an integral bar across the centre of the circular band which also has bevelled sides. A post medieval copper alloy double loop oval buckle dating to the period AD c1550-1650. The buckle comprises an oval, double loop with moulded acorn knops withe engraved cross hatched decoration on each loop and at either end of the strap bar which is narrowed. The acorns on each loop have a raised rib on either side. The pin is present and closes onto one of the acorn knops. A medieval copper alloy single loop buckle dating to the period AD c1250-1400. The buckle comprises an oval frame with two lobed knops on the outer edges. There is a copper alloy pin. Behind the oval frame is a transverse ridge. There is then the remnants of a rivet suggesting that there was an integral plate which is now missing. The patina is light green and the buckle is corroded so that the pin is fixed to the frame and at the strap bar.
