A Post Medieval silver gilt finger ring dating from 1500 - 1700 AD. The band is rectangular in section and has a join just before the 'TO'. The outer face is decorated with beaded borders, each flanked by raised lines. The plain band in the centre is inscribed: " + DYE x TO x LIVE * " in seriffed capital letters. On the inside of the hoop is a maker's mark which is a recessed square containing letters in relief. These may be interpreted as an R back to back with a reversed R (‘ЯR’). The ring weighs 4.28g. A post medieval silver-gilt dress hook dating to c AD 1500-1600. The tag is complete and comprises rectangular plate with moulded relief and openwork. The tag is constructed compositely with a wire hook attached to the back of the plate. The decoration of on the plate comprises a five petalled flower at the juncture of the hook and plate. This leads into a swag from which intertwined tendrils emerge finishing in curved loops to the sides of the plate. A cast silver shoe or knee buckle. The frame of the buckle is rectangular and has rounded corners. On the front face, along the short sides the frame is bi facial and this continues around each corner into the long sides. The long sides are wider at the centre with a hole drilled into the inner side to accommodate a separate spindle.
