A silver gilt late medieval to early post-medieval 'iconographic' finger ring. The band is complete with a bi-faceted bezel. The band is largely D-shaped in cross section measuring 1.58mm in depth and 4.26mm in width at its narrowest point. The bezel is triangular in cross-section, creating two facets which are decorated with engraved, hatched triangles. The shoulders of the hoop are engraved with a chevron above three perpendicular lines.
