A silver seal matrix made by Hester Bateman and dating to the period 1760-1790 depicting the and crest of the Blachford family. The seal matrix is oval in shape with a shield of three fess wavy gules, three pheons azure to chief with a swan above and trailing leaves and flowers on either side of the shield.
