A silver medieval voided short cross cut halfpenny of John dating to the period AD 1207-1210 (probably Class 5c). Obverse depicts the lower parts of the bust, two hair curls with pellets on the right, an almond shaped eye with hole in the centre, a beard comprising lines with a central pellet and the sceptre hand separates the R and E. Reverse depicts a voided short cross with quatrefoil in each quarter. Mint of London. North 971 (North JJ, 1980, English Hammered Coinage Volume 1, Spink & Son Ltd, London).

A slightly clipped silver groat of the second reign of Edward IV dating to the period AD 1480-1483 (North 1631). Type XXI, London mint. Initial mark is a rose. Crowned head surrounded by a nonagonal tressure with double lines. On the cusps of the tressure, three petals of a rose at the neck and trefoils on three cusps each side with nothing on the top two cusps above the crown. Saltire stops. Obverse legend EDWARD DI GRA REX ANGL Z FRANC. Reverse legend POSVI DEVM ADIVITORE MEVM (I have made God my helper).
