A medieval silver voided short cross penny of Henry III dating to c AD 1217-1222 (probably class 7a). The coin is worn and broken. The obverse depicts a thin face with five pellets topped by a cross forming the crown. There are three curls on each side of the face, two with pellets and the lower one without. The lower curl is almost attached to the crescent of the collar. Beneath the eyebrows, the eyes are round with a central annular and a beard which in the centre has long vertical strands.
