A Post Medieval silver halfgroat of Henry VIII (AD 1509-1547), dating to AD 1526-1532. HENRIC D G R AGL Z F obverse depicting the crowned bust of Henry VIII facing right. CIVITAS CANTOR reverse depicting a long cross fourchee over a royal shield with the letters W and A either side of the shield indicating Archbishop William Warham minted the coin. Mint of Canterbury. Initial mark is a cross patonce. North (1991) vol 2 p 112, no 1802.
