An incomplete Medieval silver half-groat of Edward IV (First reign AD 1461-1470), dating to AD 1464-1470. Light Coinage, Type VIII. Obverse initial mark illegible. Reverse sun. Mint of Canterbury (Royal). North (1991: 88) no.1589.
The coin is damaged between 1 and 3 o'clock on the obverse.

A medieval silver halfgroat of Henry VII dating to c AD 1490-1500. The coin has been clipped and folded in half. Obverse depicts a bust facing with a two arched crown within a double tressure. Reverse depicts a long cross. Initial mark is a tun. Mint of Canterbury. North 1712 (North, JJ, 1991, English Hammered Coinage Volume 2, Spink & Son, London, p 102, no 1712.
