A Tealby 'cross and crosslet' silver cut halfpenny of Henry II dating to AD 1158-1180. The cut is heavily clipped and misshapen, and no lettering is decipherable. However, it appears to be Bust A dating to AD 1158-1161 (north 952). Obverse depicts a bust facing right (Bust A) with a sceptre in right hand. Reverse depicts a cross with crosslets in each quarter. North, JJ, 1980, English Hammered Coinage Volume 1, Spink & Son Ltd, London, p 176, nos 952-961.
