A post-medieval silver 10 sol piece of Louis XIV of France, dating to the period AD 1643-1715. The coin is complete but very worn and has been bent twice so is probably a love token. [LVD XIIII] D G FR ET N[AV REX] obverse depicting a laureate and draped head bust of Louis XIV facing right. [DOMINE SALVVM] FAC REGEM [mint mark] reverse depicting a crown above sceptres in saltire, hand of justice and three fleur-de-lis (all that is visible are two of the fleur-de-lis). The mint mark and date are illegible.

A fragment of a post medieval silver thimble probably dating to c AD 1620-1650. The fragment comprises the top dome of the thimble and is probably part of a two part thimble (possibly Dutch Type I dating to AD 1620-1650). The fragment comprises a dome which is decorated on the top by seven rows of raised circles each with a punched central hole. The back of the dome is undecorated but there are raised knops where the hole has been punched from the other side.
