A medieval or post medieval lead token dating to c AD 1400-1700.  This lead token was found with WILT-1AEC06 and may be dated similarly to the fifteenth century.  The token is uniface and is decorated with a linear design with four pellets on short lines perpendicular to the central line and a plain back.  The design may be a truncated anchor.  Powell Type 5.  Cf Fletcher, 2005, p 61.   Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely and could be Medieval or Post Medieval in date.

A medieval lead token dating to c AD 1200-1500.  The token is uniface and is decorated with a linear cross with a pellet in each angle and a plain back.  The decoration is reminiscent of the reverse of a long cross penny.  Powell Type 14.  Cf Fletcher, 2005, pp 40-41.   Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely and could be Medieval or Post Medieval in date. Tokens of Powell's type 14 are thought to imitate Medieval pennies, and may therefore be of the same date.

A medieval lead circular uniface token of Powell type 14, probably dating to c. AD 1200-1500. The token depicts a raised cross. Dimensions: diameter: 15.47mm; 1.64mm thick; weight 2.89g. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely and could be medieval or post medieval in date. Tokens of Powell's type 14 are thought to imitate medieval pennies, and may therefore be of the same date.

A medieval lead token dating to c AD 1400-1500. The token is decorated on both sides. On one side there is a cross with chevrons possibly in two adjoining quarters and a swirling looped decoration in the two other quarters. On the other side, there is an off centre cross with a double line running through the centre of the offset cross line and lines radiating out to the edges of the token. The dating is based on the similarity of the crude decoration to a silver long cross penny.

The ampulla comprises a small vessel in the shape of a flask with a globular section at the bottom, a long broad neck and handles at either side where the bottom joins the neck. A medieval lead spindle whorl dating to c AD 1100-1500. The spindle whorl is biconical and truncated at each point. It appears to be well worn and is chipped around the central hole and has a large gash across one side. There is a central hole 11.64mm in diameter. The spindle whorl is decorated on one side with two concentric rings of raised pellets (c 11 in the outer ring and c 7 in the inner ring). The other side is decorated with 11 radiating raised ribs with a pellet between each pair. The spindle whorl weighs 41.09g and measures 29.02mm in diameter and is 12.72mm thick.

A medieval lead vesica shaped seal matrix dating to AD 1300-1400. The seal matrix is incomplete and all that remains is the bottom half of the seal matrix. The fragment depicts a central fleur de lis with a legend around the edge. The legend may read CI[]OISENIV. The reverse is undecorated and there is evidence of the raised rib down the centre which would have lead to the suspension loop.

A cast lead weight possibly dating to the medieval to post medieval periods (c AD 1100-1700). The weight is roughly circular in plan and is pierced with a hole through the centre. The weight is decorated with a wheel shape pattern comprising a groove around the outer edge which surrounds a raised circle with eight 'spokes' which meet in the centre by a hole. The reverse of the weight is undecorated. The patina is light whitish brown. The weight has a diameter of 40.63mm, is 8.73mm thick and weight 87.99g.

A lead papal bulla of Pope Alexander III dating to AD 1159-1181. On the obverse is written ALEX / ANDER / PP III (in three lines) surrounded by a circle of pellets. PP stands for pastor pastorum - 'shepherd of the shepherds'. The reverse depicts the heads of St Peter and St Paul facing each other, each in a vesica-shaped compartment defined by beading, cross pattee with long foot between the heads and SPA SPE above. An incomplete late medieval lead pilgrim's ampulla (holy water flask) dating to the period AD 1350-1530. The ampulla is incomplete as the neck is missing. All that remains is the rounded body of the ampulla which has been flattened. The cast marks along the edges are visible.
