An incomplete late medieval lead pilgrim's ampulla (holy water flask) dating to the period AD 1350-1530. The ampulla is incomplete as the neck is missing. All that remains is the rounded body of the ampulla which has been flattened. The cast marks along the edges are visible. The flattening of the ampulla means that the decoration is not very clear but it appears to have scallop shell decoration (the symbol of pilgrimage) on one side and there appears to have been a decorative motif on the other side. A lead plaque or badge in the shape of a castle with crosses on the towers which is probably medieval to post-medieval date. The plaque is sub-rectangular in plan and depicts a castle. At the base the mouldings suggest a moat which leads to a central section with an arched doorway decorated with a central raised line and two transverse lines. A medieval lead token dating to c AD 1400-1500. The token is decorated on both sides. On one side there is a cross with chevrons possibly in two adjoining quarters and a swirling looped decoration in the two other quarters. On the other side, there is an off centre cross with a double line running through the centre of the offset cross line and lines radiating out to the edges of the token. The dating is based on the similarity of the crude decoration to a silver long cross penny.

A post medieval lead token dating to c AD 1500-1700. The token is incomplete and is missing about a third of one side. The fragment comprises a semi-circular edge and a jagged line between. The token is slightly concave. On the concave side, the token is decorated with a geometric pattern of a double tressure of two loops joined by a point between (similar to Rose and Orb jetton). The other side has two concentric raised rings.

A post medieval lead token dating to c AD 1500-1700. The disc is slightly concave. On the concave side there are a number of incised line which meet in the middle and a raised pellet to one side. The depiction is similar to the design of Roman leaden tesserae/tokens (Cf Fletcher, E, 2005, Leaden Tokens and Tallies Roman to Victorian, Greenlight Publishing, Witham, p 15 (top left)). The other side depicts a possible standing figure (Cf Fletcher ibid, p 15 (third row on right)).

A section of lead with the remnants of an iron nail which appears to be Roman through it dating to c AD 43-410 (but may be later). The object comprises a sub-rectangular piece of lead. At one end, the lead has a flat vertical face and curved corners. A Roman lead weight possibly a steelyard weight dating to the period AD 43-410. The weight comprises a cone of lead with a rounded top with two iron rods coming from the base (these have broken off). At the top the lead is folded over and there is evidence of iron corrosion. The weight weighs 48.36g. It is 36.57mm long and 20.17mm wide.

A Roman lead steelyard weight, dating to the period c. AD 43-410. The weight is circular in cross section and bi-conical in plan. At its apex there is evidence of an iron suspension loop which is missing. The steelyard is greyish cream in colour with orangey brown patches and two orangey brown corrosion marks at the top from the suspension loop. The steelyard weight weighs 158g and measures 46.71mm in height and 45.19mm in diameter.

A post medieval lead probable cannon ball dating to c AD 1500-1600. The cannon ball is almost spherical with hammered edges making the circumference irregular. There is a small hole 4.28mm in diameter in the cannon ball, it is not clear whether this was the site of casting sprue or where the cannon ball was damaged as there are cracks running away from the hole. It is not clear whether the cannon ball has been fired. A medieval lead spindle whorl dating to c AD 1100-1500. The spindle whorl is biconical and truncated at each point. It appears to be well worn and is chipped around the central hole and has a large gash across one side. There is a central hole 11.64mm in diameter. The spindle whorl is decorated on one side with two concentric rings of raised pellets (c 11 in the outer ring and c 7 in the inner ring). The other side is decorated with 11 radiating raised ribs with a pellet between each pair. The spindle whorl weighs 41.09g and measures 29.02mm in diameter and is 12.72mm thick.

The lead weight is damaged, although the iron loop is visible at both ends of the weight and a complete loop is visible at the tip. The weight is broadly circular in plan and from a narrow point at the top, broadens toward the base where it curves in sharply.
